Top 10 Rookie Sleeper Candidates

10) Marquez Valdes-Scantling WR Packers

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (MVS) is one of my favorite sleeper prospects. He is in a great situation to win and produce right away. With one of the best up and coming receivers in the league, Davante Adams, MVS has a great opportunity ahead of him. I think we can expect MVS to be a really good number 2 receiver .

9) Marcus Allen S Steelers

Allen is an energy giver and a great fit for the Steelers organization. He is in a position to learn from Mike Mitchell and be an impact player for the Steelers. I think Allen is ready to play early and can be a little brother to all the experienced Steelers players.

8) Daurice Fountain and Deon Cain WR Colts

I love when GM's double down on the same position of need. I was a huge fan of when Ted Thompson drafted both Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones last year and now those picks have both payed off. Daurice Fountain is a huge redzone threat and will be a really big threat for Andrew Luck. I think Deon Cain has number one receiver potential and hopefully he will help the Colts return to the playoffs.

7) Lorenzo Carter DE Giants

This pick might have been my favorite of the whole draft. He is a perfect replacement for Jason Pierre-Paul and should be an instant impact player for the Big Blue. A bold prediction of mine is Lorenzo Carter will lead all rookies in sacks. I think he is in for a ton of production and will be one of the best young pass rushers.

6) Fred Warner LB 49ers

Fred Warner could be the next big time linebacker in the NFL. He is fast like Deion Jones and Kwon Alexander and has rare length to him. He will be able to guard tight ends like Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski. He is in a scheme where he will be used all over the place and pairs up with Reuben Foster. Warner and Foster can be the next great duo in the bay.

5) Nick Chubb RB Browns

Nick Chubb has workload potential but won't be thrown into the fire. He is in a three headed back-field and will be able to learn. I think Chubb will be really successful for the future and should be Baker Mayfield's number one back for a long long time. I think Chubb will have around 500 yards this year but will be really good sooner then later.

4) Kerryon Johnson RB Lions

The Lions haven't had a good running game for a long time. I think Johnson has Le'Veon Bell like potential and can be very successful in Detroit. He should be able to take up a ton of knowledge while sitting behind LeGarrette Blount, Ameer Abdullah, and Theo Riddick. Johnson is the future for the Lions run game and might be the best running back in this draft class.

3) Royce Freeman RB Broncos

Royce Freeman is a perfect fit for the Broncos backfield. He has great patience and a similar running game as CJ Anderson. I like the energy that Freeman provides for this offense and I think he can be a very productive runner for the Broncos.

2) Mark Walton RB Bengals

The Bengals got an absolute steal with this pick! Mark Walton has the best vision in this draft class and a dangerous cut back. I think him and Joe Mixon will be one of the best young backfields in the NFL. Walton might have been my favorite back to watch on film in this draft and would have been a first round pick if he stayed healthy.

1) Anthony Miller WR Bears

Anthony Miller is easily my favorite player in this draft. He reminds me of a younger version of my favorite player ever in Steve Smith. He is fierce and plays with tenacity. I think Miller will end up as Mitchell Trubisky's number one receiver next season and be the legendary receiver the Bears are missing.  Anthony Miller is the real deal.
