Week 8 Perfect Fantasy Line Up
QB: Russell Wilson vs the Falcons
I feel like every week Russell Wilson is a safe fantasy option, but this week he's going to explode! The Seahawks are going to have a bounce back game against a terrible Falcons pass defense. Dan Quinn once was recognized as one of the best defensive coordinators in all of football, but now his defense can't stop a single quarterback. The Falcons run defense is actually pretty good, but between Keanu Neal being on IR and Desmond Trufant being banged up, this pass defense sucks, and I fully expect Russ to take advantage. Wilson is in his MVP year and now he gets a chance to put up MVP numbers in a game that should be a blowout. Wilson's stats are going to be on a whole different level this week.
RB: Leonard Fournette vs the Jets
Fournette is quietly having the best season of his career. Right now, despite having only one touchdown on the season, Fournette is second in the league in rushing yards. Ever since Gardner Minshew became the quarterback in Duval County, teams haven't been putting nearly as many defenders in the box and running lanes have emerged. This Jets run defense isn't great by any means and Fournette has an opportunity to take over in this game. I expect Leonard Fournette to take over this week.
WR: TY Hilton vs the Broncos
This is my favorite fantasy play this week. He is the most underrated wide receiver in the NFL and I think this is his true break out game. Chris Harris Jr. is one of the best corners in the game so it would be a real surprise if Hilton ends up the WR1, but I think he does it. I love the Colts, they are the most under appreciated team in the NFL and this man is a big reason why. He doesn't really talk much in the media, but he already 5 touchdowns this season, and I think he ends up in the end zone a few more times on Sunday.
TE: Darren Waller vs the Texans
This man is bound for a breakout performance. Last week against the Packers there was a play where he was down at the one yard line, a touchdown called back, and a dropped touchdown. Waller is on pace to finish as the best tight end in the league this year, and I think this week is his defining game. The Texans pass defense is god awful and this game is going to be extremely high scoring. Waller is going to finish this game with over 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.
